8월29일 소형 ASIC 개발업체 FutureBit에서 Apollo LTC Pod ASIC Miner을 개발하겠다고 발표한 이후 3개월만에, 드디어 출시 소식을 알려왔습니다. 가격은 당초 예상했던 가격인 $299.99 입니다. 다만, 프로그램까지 설치한 32GB SD를 포함하면, $319.99가 됩니다. 저는 한국에 있기에 배송료 및 관세가 나올것을 예상하고 구매를 시도 했습니다. 그런데, 직구에서 실수를 하면 안되기에, 급한일을 먼저 처리 하고 나서, 구매를 진행 했더니, 바로 품절 상태가 되어 좌절 하였습니다. OTL

정식 발매된 Batch 1의 스펙은 상기의 내용과 같습니다.

가장 큰 특징은 Wifi로 통신을 하며, 250 Watt 12V 전력이 필요하여, 일반적인 그래픽카드가 사용하는 6 Pin PCIE 커넥터로 전원을 공급해야 합니다. 즉, PC용 Power Supply를 사용하거나, 다른 방식으로 변환을 해서 사용해야 합니다.

ECO모드에서는 매우 조용하나, 수동으로 스피드를 조절하거나, TURBO모드를 사용하면, RPM증가로 조금은 시끄러워 질 수 있다고 합니다.

그리고, SD카드에 작동 소프트웨어가 올라가는데요. 제작사에서 이미지 파일을 제공해주므로, SD카드를 구입하여 설치하거나 SD카드를 함께 구매하면 됩니다.
